What is PPA-CF?
PPA-CF is a polyphthalamide (PPA), a high-performance semi-aromatic polyamide, filled with short carbon fibres. Combined with precision 3D printing, it makes it possible to produce functional parts, not just mock-ups.
What PPA-CF brings to your parts
- High stiffness and mechanical strength, thanks to the carbon fibres.
- Good heat resistance, higher than common filaments (PLA, PETG).
- Low moisture absorption compared with conventional polyamides, hence more stable behaviour over time.
- Dimensional stability, useful for assemblies and precision parts.
- Light weight: a good stiffness-to-mass ratio.
Exceptional print resolution
QTechGolf prints with 0.08 mm layers. This fineness gives smoother surfaces, better-reproduced details and parts that need less finishing.
Applications
| Sector | Example parts |
|---|---|
| Golf | Inserts, clubhead components, adjustment parts, shape and ergonomics prototypes |
| Aerospace | Functional prototypes, brackets, jigs, lightweight structural parts |
| Precision engineering | Housings, guides, tooling, tight-tolerance components |
From a single part to a small series
One prototype or a small series, without heavy tooling: you iterate quickly and validate the design before investing in a mould. A single point of contact follows your project, from file analysis to delivery.
How does it work?
- You send your file (STEP, STL, 3MF) or your PDF drawing.
- I analyse feasibility: geometry, orientation, service constraints (load, temperature, environment).
- I propose the material, the process and a quote.
- I print, inspect and deliver.
